Alex Butler is a rising star with an unforgettable personality that
makes anyone feel comfortable and everyone laugh.  Undeniably
charismatic, outgoing, and sociable, Alex can light up any room with
her contagious energy.

Most recently Alex became a host at the QVC network. Prior to that 

Alex co-hosted My Carolina Talk on CBS. Before joining
CBS North Carolina - Alex was the morning entertainment and feature
reporter on Fox 4 Rising in Ft. Myers, Florida. She got her start as a
News/Feature reporter for KCBD NewsChannel 11. Alex's first on-air
reporter job was at WTVJ NBC 6 in Miami, at the age of 14. Since then
Alex has reported on numerous breaking news stories and countless Live
reports. Including KCBD's coverage of a terror suspect in Texas. She
also reported on location where wildfires destroyed over 4000 acres
throughout the state.

Alex  spent 2 years reporting on the red carpet for Focus Hollywood in
Los Angeles, CA. She covered celebrity events, concerts, junkets, and
movie premieres. Alex reported on numerous stories such as the Tiger
Woods Scandal and several high profile Hollywood court cases. She has
interviewed such names as John Travolta, Kelly Preston, Paris Hilton,
Nicole Richie, Peter Fonda, Katherine McPhee, and Eliza Dushku.

Needless to say, at young age, Alex discovered that shes a natural in
front of the camera. Before joining Focus Hollywood, she served as an
on-air radio personality for Magic 101.3 and 106.9 KZY in Gainesville,
FL.

Alex has received numerous journalism awards, including the coveted
Associated Press Award for Best News Feature in the state of Florida.
She has also trained and perfected her hosting technique with the one
and only, Marki Costello in Los Angeles, CA.

In May 2006, Alex earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast
journalism from the University of Florida.
